How to vote?

You can vote if you are over 18 and a British citizen or a citizen of the European Union, many Commonwealth citizens are also entitled to vote. You need to be listed on the electoral roll and in nearly all cases will have already received a polling card through the post. The deadline for updating the electoral roll ahead of the local elections has now passed, although there may still be time to get your name on the list for the even more important European referendum vote on 23 June.
