Police swooped on speeding motorists in Kings Heath and issued eight speeding fines in a single day after complaints by local familes.
Residents expressed their concern at a community meeting last month - and the result was a special operation in Brandwood Park Road last Sunday. The eight drivers who were travelling at more than 35mph in the residential street will also get three penalty points on their licence.
