The Kings Heath street food market celebrates its third birthday this weekend.
The event will celebrate with a festival-style party featuring Birmingham’s best street food vendors, live entertainment, and more from 11.30am to 5pm on Saturday (9 April)
To mark the anniversary, organisers Brum Yum Yum will be debuting three new street food vendors to the already impressive line-up, with Café Horchata, The Middle Feast, and The Beefer all serving their delicious dishes on the day.
Live entertainment will come from local band The Frenzies, who will be entertaining crowds with their rockabilly blues throughout the afternoon.
Duncan Stanley, the man behind Brum Yum Yum, has turned the monthly Kings Heath Village Square event to one of the biggest and best in the country.
“As we enter our fourth year, the Birmingham street food scene is flying and Kings Heath is where it’s all happening,” he says.
The street food market takes place on the second Saturday of every month in Kings Heath Village Square.
“It’s great to see how far Brum Yum Yum have come since starting out in Kings Heath, and we’re proud that they’re continuing to fly the flag for us”, says Kings Heath town centre chairman Stan Hems.
