Kings Heath's foodie credentials have received yet another boost with the announcement of a new festival next month.
The Halloween Food Festival will take place in Kings Heath Village Square on Saturday 31 October.
“Kings Heath has certainly seen its share of successful food gatherings and we are certain this will be one to remember too,” say the organisers.
They promise a wide variation of Birmingham’s favourite food vendors showcasing their best street food with a little Halloween twist. Running through the day into the evening and night, there will be lots to do for the kids with sparklers, face painting and fancy dress as well as a cocktail bar for the adults.
Admission to the festival is free, although visitors will need to pay for food and drink. Food Birmingham Dining Card members will be eligible to 10% off many food vendors on the day.
The event starts at noon and runs until 8pm, with live music from 4pm.
